Stremaform^® Formwork Elements – Efficient for Curved and Inclined Concrete Components

With Stremaform^® formwork elements, one-sided curved or inclined concrete components can be realised simply and economically – without the need for complex special formwork.

Thanks to the special material, visual inspection of the concrete compaction is possible during the layer-by-layer placing. This reliably prevents gravel pockets and voids.

The next layer of concrete is then applied, ensuring the required concrete cover. Removal of the Stremaform^® formwork element at the top is not necessary – saving time and reducing labour on site.

• Place reinforcement with suitable spacers on the lower formwork.
  
• Position the Stremaform^® prefabricated elements, slightly overlapping them at one side (approx. 50 mm). Fix the elements to one another and to the reinforcement.
  
• Pour concrete between the lower formwork and the Stremaform^® elements and compact layer by layer. 
  
• Check that the structure of the concrete is homogeneous and free from voids. 
  
• Apply a concrete layer in the thickness of the concrete coverage and model it.
