When sealing the surface of bored concrete piles, a flat surface is required, which can be achieved with the installation of the Pecafil® permanent formwork.

Separation Layers for Bored Pile Walls and Combined Waterproofing with Zemseal®
Using separation layers in front of bored pile formwork offers several advantages: it allows for more precise alignment of subsequent basement walls and reduces concrete consumption. In contrast to inaccurately installed bored piles, the separation layer provides a solid base for exact and cost-effective construction.
If an area waterproofing system is required for higher usage classifications, the Zemseal® fresh concrete composite membrane is applied. It is installed directly onto the smooth surface of the Pecafil® separation layer. This eliminates the need for later crack injection, especially in areas that will no longer be accessible once construction is complete.
