The product's film has been redeveloped and now contains at least 35 % recycled material.
The permanent formwork system Pecafil® consists of two components: a special steel mesh and a yellow polyethylene film:
The double-layer, shrinkable film enables an ideal bond with the steel mesh and contributes to the product's distinctive stability against pressure during concrete pour.
The steel mesh is available in various diameters and mesh sizes and provides the necessary stability to the formwork.
MAX FRANK Pecafil® can be used in a variety of ways, for endless applications! It has been a tried and tested formwork system for decades.
However, the product's proven track record spanning more than 40 years does not mean we stand still: Over the years, Pecafil® has been constantly developed to ensure its performance as a reliable construction system is maintained.
In today's world, it is essential to focus more and more on the aspect of sustainability and the protection of resources. In 2023, an important development was progressed: Pecafil® is being developed step-by-step to become a more sustainable product.
Through on-going further development of the portfolio, the product itself and the associated processes, a reduction in the CO2 footprint of around 255 tonnes per year has already been achieved.
The decisive factor for this result is the switch to a film with a recycling content of at least 35 %.
The new Pecafil® film can be recognised by the logo "35 % recycled material".
In this context, the environmental declarations for the Pecafil® products VR6, VR8 and VR10 were revised and certified according to the LEED and DGNB classification systems.
