Egcobox® in use: Energy-efficient and sustainable construction solution for the new Müller flagship store in Budapest.
After circa three years of construction, Müller opened its new flagship store in the heart of Budapest on the site of the former Fontana House on Váci Street. The 2,841-square-meter market was officially opened by 92-year-old company founder Erwin Franz Müller. With proven construction solutions, we made a significant contribution to the success of the “Budapest Prestige” project, which combines architecture, urban living, and shopping experience.
The new building, designed by Ankner Buchholz Architects, combines traditional elements of Budapest architecture with modern elegance. Particular attention has been paid to the high-quality façade. This consists of finely polished Croatian limestone “Giallo d'Istria” and is structurally enhanced by anodized aluminum profiles and carefully coordinated relief depths. The entire building comprises around 9,650 m² of usable space and, in addition to the spacious sales area on three floors, also includes 40 exclusive apartments and spacious terraces with views over the Danube.
Through the targeted use of these products, MAX FRANK was not only able to meet the architectural requirements, but also contribute to the long-term construction quality and sustainability of this prestigious project.
