The Austrian Automobile, Motorcycle and Touring Club (ÖAMTC) opened its 'Mobility Centre' in Vienna-Erdberg.
The planning for the new building began in 2013, construction began in 2015 and the 6 to 10 storey building was completed as early as summer 2016. The usable area is over 20,000 sqm.
Max Frank GesmbH, based in Weinburg/Waasen, supplied the permanent formwork Pecafil® and column formers Tubbox® for the new building of the ÖAMTC headquarters. The reinforcement technology division supplied Egcodorn® shear force dowels.
The internationally renowned architecture prize went to Austria in 2018. In the category "Building" the ÖAMTC headquarters in Vienna received the European Concrete Award 2018. The selection criteria for the winning project were design, construction and form, sustainability, innovation and harmonious integration into the environment. More
