With Stremaform® concrete pours in underwater areas can be formed precisely and safely. Prefabricated, self-supporting elements enable execution without the need for stripping and without any subsequent finishing.
How can a concrete section be formed precisely and safely under water without requiring extensive post-treatment of the construction joint?
With Stremaform®, the formwork is created using prefabricated, self-supporting stop-end elements. The L-shaped elements are fully positioned under water and, depending on requirements, can also be equipped with integrated sealing. The first concrete section, such as a base slab, is then cast directly.
After all concrete sections of the base slab have been completed, the area can be pumped dry and subsequent construction phases can begin immediately. The key advantages: fast and safe installation, with no need for stripping or roughening of the construction joint. The elements remain in the concrete as permanent (lost) formwork.
