The Egcovoid® void former was used in a residential resort to achieve a targeted load application in the foundation area on the sandy ground.
A five-storey apartment building is being built in the popular Zabovresky district of Brno. The attractive location in a quiet neighbourhood offers young families living space at affordable prices. The residential project in the South Moravian region is built on sandy ground.
With the Egcovoid® void former the vertical forces are directed into the pile foundations. Controlled irrigation according to the installation plan creates a void between the base slab in the area of the haunch and the foundation base. The structural loads are distributed on the bored piles of 900 to 1200 mm diameter.
