The location of the new administration building of Südwestmetall Esslingen posed a major challenge for the architects. The geometry of the vineyards is also reflected in the building’s architecture.
When it came to designing the interior of the new Südwestmetall building in Esslingen, it was important to create a smooth, seamless and white surface on the ceilings between floors to emphasise the styling. By using the Sorp 10® acoustic absorber and the Sorp acoustic plaster, it was possible to implement this specification perfectly. The room acoustics achieved in the office areas meets expectations.
