Reinforcement connections have been used in civil engineering for decades and are an indispensable part of construction site operations. Due to their mode of operation, they enable the use of large-area formwork in in-situ concrete construction or steel formwork in precast construction.
With the Stabox® rebending connector from MAX FRANK, concrete components that are produced in different concreting sections are economically connected to each other. More complex formwork work can thus be omitted.
The "Stabox® T" product variant is used for very high shear stress in the direction of the joint. This shear stress can occur in the direction of the element, for example, with wall or ceiling panels due to wind loads. Due to the special trapezoidal sheet metal of the box, the highest requirement for an indented working joint is guaranteed, according to EN 1992-1-1 and National Appendix. The reverse bending connection enables the absorption of high shear forces of up to 580 kN/m along the joint.
Don't miss our Stabox® F reinforcement connection with integrated Fradiflex® Premium waterstop coated on both sides if you are looking for the ideal solution for waterproof structures. Find more information here >>>
