Futuria Garching combines modern living with pioneering construction technology. With digital planning and intelligent solutions such as the Egcodorn® shear dowel, the development represents a prime example of forward-thinking architecture.
A new residential quarter is being created in Garching near Munich through the Futuria project. It combines the vibrancy of urban life with the calm of a suburban setting. To achieve this vision, the project partners rely on advanced digital planning methods and high quality building components.
The engineering consultancy Muckingenieure was responsible for the structural design. They applied the digital BIM method together with the MAX FRANK Egcodorn® design software, which enabled precise calculations for the heavily loaded floor slabs. To ensure smooth integration of the three dimensional models and effective collaboration among all parties, the SUPPARTS component generator was also employed.
A central feature of the project is the MAX FRANK Egcodorn® shear dowel. This solution allows the transfer of high loads across expansion joints even in slender structural components, providing a dependable answer to demanding construction requirements.

Futuria Garching is a prime example of how modern living, digital planning, and innovative building products work hand in hand to realise pioneering construction projects.
