Fire station

A new fire station, known as the New Platteville Fire Facility, is currently under construction in the city of Platteville, Wisconsin. The new building is located on the site of the former O.E. Gray Elementary School and will replace the existing fire station, which is over 60 years old.

Seven to eight vehicle bays are planned to house modern emergency vehicles. In addition, the building will include numerous functional areas such as changing rooms, shower rooms, technical rooms, and storage areas for protective equipment.

Construction work on the new fire station began in April 2025 after the official groundbreaking ceremony in the spring. MAX FRANK Pecafil^® formwork system was used in the early stages of the project. This formwork element was used in the foundation work to enable efficient and safe construction of the foundations.

• No concrete release agent required

Completion is scheduled for summer 2026.
