In order to seal concrete construction joints of agricultural structures, the MAX FRANK Group has further developed its metal waterstop system Fradiflex®
Silos and slurry tanks must be constructed and operated under the farmer's own responsibility in such a way that harmful soil changes, adverse changes in the quality of the groundwater and contamination of surface waters are excluded. In order to protect the general public, in particular to ensure the quality of drinking water and to keep water bodies clean, the water and building regulations contain provisions that must be taken into account when erecting and operating silos containing liquid manure or slurry and silage sugar juice.
Following testing by DIBt, a general building authority approval (Z-74.101-215) was obtained for the product Fradiflex® JGS. The metal waterstop may be used in uncoated storage and filling systems of JGS plants and biogas plants (BGA) with a maximum filling height of 8 meters.
