How to: Concrete columns with integrated media pipes

The integration of media pipes in concrete columns is a practical and, in principle, a very simple solution - if you use the right column formwork for the construction. 

Best suited is a circular column former, which can be wrapped around the empty conduits and the reinforcement. This allows the pipes to be positioned simply and optimally instead of threading them "blind" into closed column formers.
The use of climbing formwork is particularly practical, since it is advantageous in handling and provides for optimum compaction of the concrete.

How to:

• Install media pipes or empty conduits and reinforcement.
  
• Mount Tubbox^® Multi circular column formers around the lower concreting section and close with tighteners.
  
• Cast and compact the first section. 
  
• After the curing of the concrete, strip the formwork and remount it with an overlap of 10 cm to the previous layer. 
  
• Tubbox^® Multi circular column formers can be reused several times.
