Controlled Crack Joint Twin Wall

Butt joints of the element wall construction (semi-precast components) must be made as control joints. These joints require sealing if exposed to water. The controlled crack joint element for the slender wall butt joint is equipped with a special bitumen-free coating, which increases bonding with the fresh concrete. The integrated elements for crack induction lead to a targeted and uniform crack at the joint. The coated system waterstop (metal waterstop?) seals the control joint against water penetration.
