Transverse force dowels (dorn) permit movement in both directions in the plane of the slab. The opposite slab edges are positively connected. The use of transverse force dowels (dubel) is restricted to ancillary components such as industrial floors or secondary connections. The transmittable loads are lower than for transverse force dowels (dorn).
The transverse force dowels (dubel) can be integrated into the construction joint elements at the factory, thus minimising the assembly time and demands on the workforce at the construction site.
