High‑Quality Concrete Surfaces for Water Tanks
When building water tanks, a high‑quality concrete finish is crucial for both the performance and durability of the structure. A smooth, low‑porosity, void‑free surface prevents ingress of microorganisms while offering significantly better resistance to both chemical and mechanical influences.

Drainage formwork liners make a major contribution to improving concrete surfaces. They assist in draining and ventilating the fresh concrete, thereby helping to achieve an optimised result. Even in demanding applications such as circular formwork, these liners are easy and dependable to use.

How to:

• The prefabricated Zemdrain^® CPF liner can be unrolled with the help of a crane in order to line the inner formwork for the round tank. Before that, a loop tape is attached to the formwork for the subsequent fixing of the ends of the liner.
  
• The CPF liner is first fixed at the ends with screw clamps and then stretched using lashing straps and the pre-mounted eyes.
  
• The ends of the liner hook into the loop tape on the formwork like a hook-and-loop fastening and the lashing straps can then be removed and the eye parts cut off.
  A cover sheet of Zemdrain^® is attached over the joint.
