The requirements for shuttered fair-faced concrete surfaces are particularly high for representative structural elements in building construction. For this purpose, block spacers with a minimum contact area are recommended in order to avoid marking the contact points. In the clamped version, the spacers remain in a right-angled position to the reinforcement and thus ensure compliance of the concrete cover.

  • Production of a dimension gauge for mounting the individual spacers. The grid is selected according to the permissible compressive load and a desired grid pattern.
  • Assembly of the prefabricated reinforcement bars on the formwork. Care must be taken to ensure uniform alignment.
  • Installation of the radial reinforcement.
  • Concreting of the shuttered form.
