The use of ecologically safe and recyclable building materials was a clear objective of this project. Geothermal heating in combination with Sorp 10® reduces the energy requirement enormously and ensures pleasant room acoustics in the open areas.
In order to meet the DGNB certification criteria, all materials used were tested for their sustainability and ecology. It turned out that, despite the high demands, space comfort, aesthetics and functionality did not have to be dispensed with. The award by the German Sustainable Building Council with the best grade platinum was the result of this construction method.
