Stremaform^® Joint Formwork for Crane Foundations
In larger construction projects, crane foundations are typically integrated directly into the base slab and are among the first sections to be concreted. Their early completion is essential, as construction cannot progress without a crane.

With Stremaform^® joint formwork, construction joints in crane foundations can be created quickly, safely, and with a monolithic bond. The systems provide a reliable separation while ensuring an optimal connection between successive concrete pours.

If required, the Stremaform^® joint can also be sealed against pressing groundwater – thanks to various integrated sealing options available within the system.

• Lay the lower reinforcement on suitable spacers with a predetermined overlap length relative to the floor slab.
• Place Stremaform^® spacers (fibre concrete rails with integrated expanded metal strips) in the edge area under the Stremaform^® units. This minimises leakage of the concrete slurry in the area of the concrete cover and reinforcement during concreting.
• Position the prefabricated Stremaform^® sections and tie them with wire to the adjacent units and the lower reinforcement layer.
• Lay the upper reinforcement layer with overlength according to the necessary overlap length.
• Lay a wooden strip over the elements with a thickness corresponding to the top-side concrete cover.
• Concrete the crane foundations.
• Erect the crane with suitable anchoring to the crane foundation. The further floor slabs can now be prepared and concreted with the use of the crane.
