Spacers and distance tubes for drinking water applications:

  • DVGW instruction sheet W347: “Hygienic requirements on cement-based materials in drinking water applica-tions” - for cement-based materials such as fi bre concrete - corresponds with the KTW test (migration test).
  • DVGW instruction sheet W270: “Microbiological growth on materials used in drinking water applications”. Materials in contact with drinking water must not deterio-rate the microbiological condition of the water through the release of organic particles  that would lead to growth of microorganisms.

CPF liner Zemdrain®:

  • The controlled permeability formwork (CPF) liner Zemdrain® drains the water from the edge concrete. This makes it harder, denser and more resistant, which signifi cantly increases the service life of the concrete surface.
  • The uncontaminated, virtually blowhole and blemish free surfaces reduce the potential for the growth of micro organisms. Drinking water reservoirs made from concrete without the use of release agents guarantees hygienic drinking water.
