Approval Egcopal optimized for specialist planners

Egcopal decouples building components such as stair landings, pergolas and balconies, transfers shear forces and effectively reduces disturbing impact sound in neighbouring rooms in order to increase the living comfort and well-being of the residents.

  • Shear force connection with acoustic and thermal separation
  • Areas of application e.g. stair landings, flights of stairs, access balconies
  • National technical approval by the DIBt
  • Can be used from panel thicknesses ≥ 160 mm
  • Fire resistance class F120 for joint widths up to 70 mm

What has changed?

  1. DIBt approval for specialist planners optimised and revised to simplify project-specific product design.
  2. Product-load-bearing capacity of type SPX has been increased from 60.4 kN/element to 75.6 kN/element (depending on the joint opening).
  3. Product portfolio restructured and simplified.
