The Zemseal® system has passed all tests with the highest possible water pressure and has therefore been classified in the highest performance category.
The "German Concrete Association" (Deutscher Beton Verein) has published a guideline titled “Sub-structure waterproofing systems”, which provides a regulatory framework for this type of construction. This significantly improves the safety of use on construction sites. In addition, the guideline defines a “General Proof of Applicability.”
📌Regulation of sub-structure waterproofing systems according to the DBV guideline.

The defined performance criteria must be verified by an authorized testing body. The system undergoes 22 mandatory tests as well as optional performance evaluations. Classification is based on three performance levels.
📌The performance levels depend on the tested water pressure.
The general proof of applicability increases the safety and reliability of use for all parties involved in the construction process, enabling efficient and dependable system application.
📌A fundamental requirement for watertight concrete construction concepts.
The high-quality Zemseal® sub-structure waterproofing system for watertight concrete structures, featuring a special Dual-Bond Technology (mechanical and adhesive bonding), has undergone multiple tests. In-house production control ensures consistent, long-lasting quality:
