On the edge of the Papstwiese in Regensburg, a new residential area for mainly young families will be completed by 2013. With an average purchase price of approx. 2,500 Euros per square meter, the 77 individually designed apartments, from a 54 sqm two-room apartment to a 130 sqm four-room penthouse apartment, are extremely reasonably priced for a city centre apartment anywhere in Germany. The affordable living space will make the city of Regensburg attractive for urgently needed skilled labour and thus promote the domestic economy.

The apartments will be traditional brick structures with full thermal insulation. The Stremaform^® sound insulation joint was used as a formwork element and provides the necessary sound insulation between the buildings.
