Innovative Construction Solutions for the RS76 Office Complex

At Richard Strauss Strasse 76 in Munich Bogenhausen, the Bayerische Versorgungskammer is realising a forward looking large scale project with the RS76 office complex. The modern building ensemble, offering a floor area of around 72,000 m², will serve as the new company headquarters under the name “House of the Future”. Two of the three building sections are being constructed using a sustainable timber hybrid method – combining contemporary architecture with the highest ecological standards. The building was already awarded the DGNB precertification in Gold during the planning phase.

This demanding construction project incorporated a wide range of high quality solutions from MAX FRANK, which we delivered over various construction phases. These included, among others, Stremaform^® formwork elements for base slabs and walls with integrated waterstop – ensuring precise construction joints and reliable separation of concrete pours. For the slab constructions, formwork elements without sealing were used. We also supplied custom made Stremaform^® recesses as well as special constructions tailored precisely to the project’s requirements.

The complete joint sealing was achieved using the Fradiflex^® system, which offers long term protection against moisture and thus contributes to the durability of the structure. In addition, we supplied all reinforcement connections as well as part of the spacers and wall thicknesses, which are crucial for stability and construction reliability. A particular technical highlight was the specially developed Stremaboard solution for this project, designed for the interlocking of corbel beams.

Thanks to our broad product portfolio and close coordination with all project stakeholders, we were able to make a significant contribution to the smooth implementation and high construction quality of this flagship project.
