Sepulchral chapel with family crypt

München , Germany

An exposed concrete ribbed slab was produced with Fratec® forming formwork for a sepulchral chapel in the Waldfriedhof cemetery in Munich.

A sepulchral chapel with a family crypt was erected in the Waldfriedhof Munich at the end of 2015. In this construction project, an exposed concrete ribbed slab was produced using Fratec® creative formwork from MAX FRANK. The formwork area was approx. 100 sqm.
It was possible to make an exposed concrete ribbed slab because the Fratec® special formwork allows a uniform concrete surface which satisfies particularly exacting design requirements. Fine details can also be realized with this forming formwork.

Added benefits of Fratec® forming formwork:

  • Delivery of ready-assembled elements to the building site
  • Light in weight – no need for the use of a crane for moulding and de-moulding work
  • Use of release agents is not required
