MAX FRANK supplied Stremaform® Strong permanent formwork, for deep slabs & bases to this redevelopment project.
In the heart of one of North London’s most diverse communities, Anthology Hale Works is the last piece of land in Hale Village to be redeveloped. Hale Village is a multi-award winning urban village with sustainability and community at its forefront. It is situated in the centre of Tottenham Hale and is minutes from the tube and national rail links and a stone throw from the Lee Valley’s waterways and Regional Park.
Hale Works is the final component of the eleven-phase re-development of the area. The design will consist of a 32 storey mixed-use tower of 279 homes and mixed commercial uses. The tower at a height of 107m will act as a landmark for Tottenham Hale and Hale Village, whilst simultaneously achieving the highest design and environmental standards. MAX FRANK supplied Stremaform® and fibre concrete spacers to this project.
MAX FRANK Stremaform® permanent formwork is a proven, open expanded metal mesh which simplifies and controls the pouring of concrete in large areas - allowing for more durable construction. The revolutionary Stremaform® system is "self-supporting" and suitable for slabs up to 3m deep:
Slab Depth | MAX FRANK Solution |
---|---|
Up to 500mm | Stremaform® |
500mm to 3m | Stremaform® Strong |
This development required MAX FRANK's Stremaform® Strong solution, which is supported by additional girders. The girders can be positioned to accommodate the wall thickness and slab depth.
"By using Stremaform, it saved us time on site as no stripping of the product from the site was needed once the pour had been made - which meant no re-work was necessary either, as the product remains in the ground following installation. Our specifications were met by MAX FRANK and their support made work much easier on the project".
