In Munich-Ludwigsvorstadt, a real estate project comprising 74 apartments is currently under construction. The residential building is equipped with an underground car park, a supermarket and a pharmacy – all being constructed on the basement and ground floor.
The building, near Munich's main train station and Theresienwiese, has two different residential concepts: The "city life" concept offers spacious penthouse apartments in the street-side building, whilst the "loft life" concept is being developed in the rear building and apartments have been designed in the style of industrial loft apartments.
Pecafil® permanent formwork played a key role in the construction of the residential complex. A four-metre deep basement was constructed, by bored pile shoring, at the neighbouring building. Pecafil® served as a lost formwork between the bored pile shoring and the basement wall of the new building. A concrete saving was achieved through the use of Pecafil as sheet piling. Not only was a gap of several centimetres created, settlements were also decoupled between the two structures.
In addition to Pecafil®, various MAX FRANK products from formwork technologies, reinforcement systems and sealing solutions were used throughout the construction of the “Das Goethe” project.
