The Trout Museum of Art (TMA) has been a leader in visual art for 64 years. The museum is in a transformative era as a new museum is constructed with a vision to build a state-of-the-art facility and community space that expands access to art and art education in the Fox Cities. The search for a new site uncovered a strong partnership with Lawrence University & project completion is estimated in Fall 2025.
Having experienced significant growth in recent years, the new space promises to be a premier venue for the museum, which will be relocating from its current 100-year-old facilities.
In partnership with Lawrence University, the TMA planned a new building featuring 100,000 sq.ft. of space across four floors. The Trout Museum of Art will occupy the 30,000 sq.ft. ground floor.
MAX FRANK supplied Pecafil® stay-in-place formwork to this project in a mixture of profiles, including; U-Sections, flat strips and L-Sections for grade beams and for pile caps. The grade beams were a mixture of shallow small width sections and very deep/wide sections. As a versatile formwork solution, Pecafil® was perfect for the required variety of configurations.
The Trout Museum of Art will continue to operate from its current location until late Spring 2025, after which, relocation preparations will begin – ready for the opening of the new 4-story facility in Fall 2025.
MAX FRANK has received the ICC-ES approval for the North American market for Pecafil® permanent formwork.
