Waterfront Project

Colwyn Bay, United Kingdom

Insitu concrete sea walls using NOEplast were selected as an economical and durable solution to the original design of precast units with 'cast in' real-stone cladding.

The client opted for the NOEplast "Carlisle" pattern – a bespoke design which was previously created for Volker Stevin when they worked on a flood alleviation scheme in the town of Charlisle. This design compliments the surrounding environment as it is similar to the local stone.
Pecafil® VR6 was also used to form the pile caps & beams for the new watersports complex

NOEplast formliners offered the following advantages for this project:

  • virtually any design possible
  • reusable & cost-effective for this large scale application
  • easy to use
