MAX FRANK are pleased to confirm that its 'Premium' Fibre Reinforced Concrete Spacers, Zemdrain® CPF liner, Fradiflex® metal waterstop and Synko-Flex® non-expanding waterstop meet the requirements of the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) standard for use with drinking water (BS 6920:2014).
Suitability of non-metallic materials and products for use in contact with water intended for human consumption with regard to their effect on the quality of the water.
WRAS advise it is a requirement that all non-metallic materials, which come into contact with water intended for domestic use or food production, must conform to the requirements of BS 6920. The suitability of MAX FRANK’s 'Premium' Fibre Reinforced Concrete Spacers, Zemdrain®, Fradiflex® and Synko-Flex® have been successfully assessed and passed.
The mentioned MAX FRANK products are therefore fit for purpose to be specified and used in water retaining concrete structures such as drinking water reservoirs or pumping stations. The products add additional value, for example, Zemdrain® creates a blowhole-free finish which enhances durability of the concrete surface, whilst Fradiflex® and Synko-Flex® ensure the water tightness of the concrete structure.
