What does the Egcobox^® Certificate Reissue mean for you?

Fully non-combustible thermal breaks:

MAX FRANK Egcobox units comprise stone wool insulation (Fire classification A1) as standard. The plastic protection caps can be removed during site installation and the resistance to fire classification of REI 120 is met.

Hydrophobic properties:

The stone wool insulation offers excellent water repellent properties. It does not swell or distort when wet, so its physical appearance and performance is therefore unaffected by unpredictable weather on site!

Thermal resistance:

The certificate states that incorporating MAX FRANK thermal breaks contributes to limiting heat loss and reduces the risk of surface condensation.

Structural compliance ensured:

MAX FRANK Egcobox is a structurally-sound solution - a guarantee reinforced by BBA certification.

Egcobox^® is the fully non-combustible concrete-to-concrete structural thermal break unit, supplied as standard in the UK.

What does a BBA Certificate Reissue involve?

Reissuing Certificates involves several teams within the BBA, who all have specific roles to provide input, validation and authorisation. Every time a Certificate is updated, in addition to any Certificate specific changes, it is reviewed against the latest Regulations and Standards and checked against the latest Certificate of that type to ensure consistency and that all updates are included, ensuring that no Certificate holder holds an advantage over another for similar product types.
