Metro Line 18 – Massy Palaiseau Station

Paris, France

As part of the "Grand Paris Express" project, the Massy-Palaiseau metro station is being built on Line 18 in the south-west in close proximity to the centre of Paris.

▷ What is the "Grand Paris Express" project?

The gigantic infrastructure construction project "Grand Paris Express" will transform the metropolitan area around the centre of Paris and significantly improve the connection of the regions there to the public transport network.
In addition to the extension of the existing Line 14, four new automatic, driverless metro lines will be built.

Once completed, these will connect the regions surrounding Paris, where important research and economic areas are located, with a length of approx. 200 km and 68 stations, thus making a decisive contribution to the mobility of local residents.
The project will promote the expansion of the public transport network and therefore reduce transfer times between the individual regions. Along with the expansion of the network, the construction of new flats, offices, etc. will also connect cities whose residents previously had to travel long distances to workplaces and educational institutions - mainly by car.

▷ The Massy-Palaiseau Station

As part of the Grand Paris Express, the Massy-Palaiseau metro station has been under construction since 2021 for Line 18, which will extend in the south-west of Paris from Orly Airport across the Saclay Plateau to Versailles.

The Massy-Palaiseau station is located between the RER B and RER C railway tracks, which is why access is provided via the existing "Le Lien" pedestrian bridge.
The completion of the rail link from Massy-Palaiseau to the CEA-Saint-Aubin station is planned for 2026, and to Orly airport in 2027.

MAX FRANK is supplying the following products for the construction of the Massy-Palaiseau station:
