Sustainability

Designing the living spaces of the future

Since time immemorial, architecture has shaped the face of our planet. As a consequence of the big social upheavals of our time, well-conceived and constructed buildings determine the quality of our working and living environments today more than ever before. They make them safe, interesting and worth living in.

The international construction industry is facing enormous challenges due to this change: How can one design new infrastructures for a mobile society, modern energy landscapes and large, community-fostering buildings? How do we find new solutions for individual and shared living? And last but not least: How can one build with ecological responsibility for future generations?

All these complex issues influence the quality of the built future and require the intensive exchange and cooperation of all parties - worldwide as well as locally. As a globally operative corporation, we want to make our contribution and we are responsible for the careful handling of our resources.

Sustainability in practice

Careful handling of resources, efficient processes and lean production are all part of sustainable implementation. We pay close attention to the right selection of raw materials during product development and as far as possible we avoid materials that have a negative impact on humans and nature. Through our environmental declarations, we make statements about the ecological impact of our products. Our environmental declarations can be found on the respective product pages.

By careful use of energy and water among other things, we have reduced the release of greenhouse gases and thereby saved CO2. Mandatory compliance with the Packaging Ordinance also saves resources and greenhouse gases. All corresponding certificates can be found in the download area.

Certified sustainability

The MAX FRANK Group's administrative building is one of a few double-certified buildings in Germany. In addition to the gold DGNB certificate, the building has also been awarded the gold LEED certificate.

For MAX FRANK this was about much more than a badge. Investors, building owners and users value a sustainable construction method, especially where high-class buildings are concerned. Sustainability and durability were particularly important to MAX FRANK as a product manufacturer when its new office and administration building was erected. These aspects were part of the building project plans from the start and were realized using in-house products.
