Bedding of ceilings on load-bearing walls
Use the benefits of wall and floor bearings to avoid building damages. The targeted load centring prevents spalling due to rotation of the floor bearing. According to DIN 18530, an intermediate layer must be added to accommodate these deformations. The Egcodist construction bearing range from MAX FRANK fulfils these requirements. This means planning security for the user and a permanently intact wall / ceiling butt-joint for the client.

Centring bearing with fire protection certificate avoids spalling caused by central load introduction
The Egcodist centring bearing C R90 can absorb angular rotations and minor horizontal movements due to shear deformation of the core strip element (elastomer). The fire resistance of the construction bearing has been verified by expert report.

Centring bearing with limited deformability avoids spalling due to central load introduction
Egcodist C construction bearing avoids the spalling which can be caused by large angles of rotation of the ceiling at the support point. It also increases the load-bearing capacity of the masonry by centring the load entry. The centring bearing is ideal for large ceiling spans and high walls.

Wall and floor bearings Egcodist – slide bearings
Centring bearing with permanent sliding function allows length changes (e.g. due to temperature)
The slide bearing effectively prevents shear cracks caused by length changes of the ceiling. Egcodist CG avoids spalling which can be caused by large angles of rotation of the ceiling at the support point and increases the masonry load-bearing capacity by centred load entry. Egcodist CG is ideal for uninsulated ceilings with large spans and high walls.
