Settling Joint For Pile Head Beams And Foundation Slabs

Statically clear load cases are enabled by the application of void formers. To discharge the underground a cavity is formed at a clearly defined moment due to watering (approx. 35 to 50 mm). This enables controlled load activation and targeted load application.
Cavity formation by means of void formers is suitable for the relief below pile head beams and floor slabs, their sound and vibration related decoupling from the subsoil and for load activation for the development of existing building components and underground structures (tunnels, channels, etc.).
In case of swelling, cohesive soils, the use of void formers creates the necessary expansion space below the floor slab.
